blue Skye mourning (b. Nov 1994 - d. Aug 1997)

blue Skye mourning has called it quits. And really there is not much need for a super-sappy rememberance, so I'll go with some semi-silly-blow-off-all-self-service diatribe.

bSm, the child of the brothers Ramos (here-in-after refered to as Tony, Dave, and Carlos), had one purpose and one purpose only... the problem was we never really figured out what that purpose was. We, like so many artists (musicians in particular) and an occassional Marv Albert, were torn and scattered in many different directions, objectives, desires, and loves. And the time came to dissolve the once common dream... to sacrifice the whole for the good of the individuals.

I have been asked by several people over the course of the past few months where blue Skye has gone. Several have already found out about the break up and have written to ask what happened. I thank these people for writing, but I have no answers. We took everything that happened in blue Skye and to blue Skye very personally. For almost three years we lived, breathed, and dreamed everything blue Skye. I think we all just want to keep these things private.

So where are we now? That I will answer with glee (glee looks so stupid in print... it really did sound kinda good in my head).

David...

...took up chicken farming in the Grand Canyon...there have been several Dave sightings at Betty Ford...

Tony...

...accidentally ventured into championship kick-boxing...

Jim...

...underwent a full body tatto and 722 body-piercings...he is still in ICU...

...and me...

...I've become the poster-boy and model par-excellence for pushing drugs to all common folk.

Oh yeah, Doug's still out there somewhere (you know, the guy who was actually on the CD we put out)... rumor has it he's gone from pulling bulls to pulling... well lets not go there (love ya Doug!)

For all it's worth, the trip was a learning experience... and yeah, it was even pretty cool (for the most part). And if nothing else we got one really kick-ass recording out it. I've got a few left should you be interested.
